    Thanks,
I may have to go that route. I was hoping for a simple card. Figure it is worth asking.

@Shawn is disabling wi-fi part of combo card in BIOS an option? Or you can simply cover a few pins with electric tape. Bluetooth should work regardless, afaik.

Not so easy on a Toughbook. The model I am working on is a FZ-G1 tablet. But I have had the same issue on a CF 19 and a CF 31.

    I swapped out a Intel 6235 for a Intel 7260ac.
The 7260 will not show in bios. But as long as the wifi was already enabled, the wifi will work anyway.

The bluetooth will not work on the 7260. I tried cutting pin 51 with no luck.
I also tried a Broadcom card-AW CB123H. No joy there either.
Thought maybe a dedicated BT card would work in the WWAN slot.

So I have 802.11ac but lost Bluetooth.

It's very odd. The 6235 and 7260 are both BT 4.0

Are you looking for a half-height or full-height card? The Alienware M15X has a full-height Broadcom BT (3.0 I think) only card which you can probably find on e-bay for a couple of dollars.

    Edit:
    Here's the card:

@Shawn some 7260 have faulty Bluetooth, it is quite common problem. Is Bluetooth detected in OS but does not work, or is it not detected at all? AW would also probably require taping pin 51 for Bluetooth to start.

Regardless, consider trying both 6235 and AW in the WWAN slot to see how BT behaves.

    Kosti,
To use it in the wwan slot, I need full height or an adapter.
    The wlan/wifi slot is 1/2

    Starlight5,
With the card upgrades, bluetooth is totally MIA. No Bluetooth adapter found.
I did not try taping/cuttin pin 51 on the CB123H
I will try the original card in the wwan slot and see what happens.
