Very nice work and great documentation. I'm sure I'll be moving to a desktop for more power (and many more cores) at home soon, and this has given me a lot of inspiration to just do it myself. Thanks!
There are a lot of great options for Small Form Factor builds out there. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Please post your results when done.
I haven't done any benching, but memtest86 hasn't reported any errors after an 8 hour run at 16-18-18-43 @ 3000 MHz in quad channel config.
Certainly! I got my P650 as a proof of concept machine for work, and I'm waiting/hoping for a Prema BIOS release to decrease run times, but I've already saved a local copy of your post
What kind of details would you want me to post about my build? Me is running 8700K OCd + 1080TI in RVZ-01E for starters
I'd recommend a new thread so it gets its attention. Go into details about the case, psu, GPU, cooling system, drives, the quality of the components, ease of build, etc. Also, include some of the reasoning and logic behind your choices. If you documented with photos, along the way place them in spoiler tag groupings. Finally, some pictures of some quick benches of CPU, drives, thermals, etc., and a summary of your satisfaction for the entire process. Give the NBR members some insight of how it went, how it could be better, etc.
But I am lazy as fu... Sorry, better phrased, I have such a busy schedule that I mostly browse NBR for humor and when I really need advice Furthermore, I never took photos while the case was open and now you can't see quite that much inside. I may start a trhear right now, but it may be a little while before I manage to take prtoper photos of it...
Sorry you are having some difficulty finding some information. However, I like having the post short and succinct, and hate the behavior of my browser jumping around pushing text down as it loads more and more images. I tried to break the large post up into separate posts by area case, PSU, GPU, etc. Still hope you found what you're looking for. FWIW, I don't know how much room you need, but I really like some of the design decisions that went into my Cougar QBX... Also as I'm typing this, the ads at the bottom show there are some nice looking Phanteks, ROSEWILL and Thermaltake ITX based cases. Perhaps something they offer will meet your needs.
