I witnessed very strange system behavior especially in processor clock management and cores utilization, the fix was to uninstall all system drivers and reinstall all of them especially the chipset in proper order. I recommend doing so for everyone who upgraded and didn't clean install.

    Dear MSI users,

As of now there have been new Windows 10 updates released.

    ------------------------------------------------------------
Please do not update Windows 10 as of now!
    ------------------------------------------------------------

The updates (15063.13) and (15063.138) for Windows 10 are causing insane amounts of issues and reportedly only for users without a clean install. The new MSI GT73VR-7RF is mainly targeted with those issues.

Wonder why the factories can't make a clean install for $3500 machines...

Fix / Repair is available at the end of the thread!

    15063.0 Tested / Flawless

    15063.13 Tolerable
    - Can't boot-up the machine after an hour without using a power adapter!
    - Sleep mode issues (After 15 minutes laptop completely shuts off / data loss)
    - Booting to a black screen
    Fix: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4453
    - Dragon center issues (Unstable, saving issues...)
    - Nahimic Audio issues
    Fix: availaible on MSI Website
    - more reports coming...

    New 15063.138 Intolerable
    - Can't switch from or to integrated graphics (net.framework error)
    - Dragon Center has no GPU data
    - SCM app failure
    - Games crash (League Of Legends)
    - Apps won't work properly
    - more reports coming...

MSI has updated Nahimic Audio but hasn't really thought of other applications that are critical currently.

Net.Framework could be the main issue

You already updated or you were forced to update?
    Here's a fix posted below:

    Option 1:

Step 1: Open Start Menu and type "Recovery"

Step 2: Select "Open System Restore"

Step 3: Select "Choose a different restore point"

Step 4: Choose the Windows Update that was performed before and that worked flawlessly.
Then select "Next" and proceed with the instructions that are provided by the software!

Step 5: Wait for everything to finish and enjoy your stable version!

    Option 2:

    Step 1: Open Settings
Step 2: Click on Update and Security
Step 3: Click on Windows Update
Step 4: Click the Update History
    [IMG]

Step 5: Click the Uninstall Updates Link
    [IMG]

Step 6: Select the update that last caused issues and click the uninstall button
    [IMG]
Step 7: Click Yes to confirm
Step 8: Click the Restart Now to reboot and complete the process

To prevent the same update installing again you can simply do the following:
Step 1: Goto Start Menu and type "run"
Step 2: In the Run Window type "services.msc"
Step 3: Scroll down until you find "Windows Update" and double click on it
Step 4: Find "Startup type" and change it from "Enabled" to "Disabled"
    Step 5: Force shutdown
Note: If Update installed again repeat the process on Option 2:

    FAQ:
System Restore failed 0x80070005 / other...?
    - Please make sure your Anti-virus has been uninstalled.
    - Don't let the display go to sleep (helped me)
    - Try Safe-Mode.

I chose the wrong recovery... How do I go back?
    - Go back to Step 3 and instead Select "Undo System Restore" in the main page.

Are there new dell drivers for Alienware stuff? The only driver update I have downloaded since the update was NVidia, and my temps are all in check again.

I put it here as well Windows 10 Crematory Update Annoys Users With Maximum Screen Brightness Battery Warnings - Hothardware.com

"That would be fine if Windows 10 gave users the option to dismiss the message, but that is not the case. Unless turning down the brightness level, it will show up as a potential health risk, with users forever reminded of it with an icon that appears in the system tray" Nice with a babysitter:D Probably because we the users can't use our own brains o_O

I did a clean install when it came out two weeks ago, everything runs fine... the only annoying issue I am having is in the search, non of my installed programs show up, like word, excel, steam...etc.....is it just me? Files, windows store apps, etc do show up though or I search winword for example.

UPDATE: fixed the search by enabling "Let apps run in the backgroud".....I can still disable the apps from running in the background individually without affecting the search.
