If Windows 7 would get again proper support, it would take over on Windows 10 in no time.

Might help if for the most part DX12 wasn't a big steaming pile. in most games that have DX12 implemented, DX11 still performs better on even the newest of hardware.

Absolutely no doubt. That's why the Digi-Nazis are on a digital genocide mission to kill their own.

Yup, 100%... Windows 10 is a pile of doggy do-do when viewed from almost any angle.

    No surprise there.

Its a scare tactic they like to do in order to force users to downgrade to Windows 10 but this time it'll be successful because of the fear and risks of using an unsupported OS especially business owners. Personally i think most Win7 users should move to Win 8.1 at least because its like using Windows 7 after installing Classic Shell plus you'll have full control of Windows updates and less telemetry crap plus you'll receive support until 2023.

It wasn't mentioned here that Microsoft created instructions for developers of ANY game to implement DX12 features for Windows 7.

Now I'm curios, why 3DMark haven't implement it for TimeSpy to be run on Windows 7? Now that would be an on-screen answer of how efficient is this Dx12 on Windows 7.

The only issue with that is the fact that Windows 8.X ruined CPU performance and introduced the RTC bug. The Redmond Retards left things broken in Windows 10. So, yeah... less telemetry and other nonsense, but still an OS that impairs CPU performance. Windows 8 is where the whole CPU performance degradation mess started.
They are probably too scared that allowing Windows 7 to run Time Spy and the other DX12 tests would just ragdoll the snot out of Windows 10 and demonstrate in a very clear and unmistakable manner how superior Windows 7 is in terms of performance. It doesn't reflect that in Fire Strike because the Physics testing carries almost no weight in the overall score. It is evident looking at the Physics score, but most people don't pay close enough attention to notice that if the overall score looks nice.

Welp, I have just sent feedback asking to backport Dx12 API Feature Test to Windows 7 and other benchmarks. The more people does it, the bigger chances to succeed.
