Is there any way to turn down the sensitivity on the built-in microphone in the M11x-R2?

It literally picks up every little sound in the house when it's on. It'll even sense a pin dropping ... I've tested it. I just want to Skype some one without them hearing every bit of my life in the background.

Skype auto adjusts sensitivity to a proper level... if you got to settings -> options and sound and something one or another you can see that. if you're still unhappy you can right click the little speaker to the left of the clock and select recording devices where you can adjust pretty much anything adjustable by selecting the mic and clicking PROPERTIES.

    I think that covers that

Right click speaker -> click Recording devices -> Recording tab -> Click microphone -> Click Properties -> Levels tab -> you can disable the Boost and lower the volume of the microphone.

Well I mean, he is posting on the forums to get support. If your best advice of support is "search it on google" you're the one that needs to stop trolling. As for the problem. Try enabling noise suppression if you haven't already.
