I have an NP8157 with the specs in my signature.

Ive been told by people I game with that my mic is super quiet. I am using an AntLion ModMic plugged into the right side audio jack.

Which mic should I be modifying the settings of in the Realtek HD Audio Manager? I have stereo Mixer and Microphone.

Go into recording devic es (right click the volume icon in the bottom right), now tap the mic and see which device shows activity.

You may need to address you microphone's sensitivity as well within windows.

If you're using Steam, go to Steam -> Settings -> Sound, select audio input and adjust the volume. Also, you can increase gain in Realtek manager (mouse cursor), but I'm not sure if it's gonna work with the external mic.

The stereo mixer treats your audio output as input. In other words, everybody will hear what you're listening to.

Microphone, and as Meaker mentioned, you can adjust volume & gain from within Windows Recording devices. Those settings will apply to the Realtek HD Audio Manager settings (global).
