MC7700 Sierra Airprime card - Cheap data plan!

    Nope, although it may be relevant that this card has been working for about 7 months and suddenly quit. Now it's too broken to be flashed. I'll try and see what version I have on my remaining module although I think I remember it being one of the latest "Bell-Telus-Rogers approved" firmware when I was tinkering around last year.

    Never heard of anyone burning out WWAN cards like you do.
    I would custom fit a heatsink on that bad boy.

    My modules rarely go above 60 degrees c. They idle below 40 and go up to 50 during heavy use. Default high critical temperature for the MC7700 is 85c. I use the terms "burn" and "fry" quite loosely.

    But yeah, they be droppin' like flies around here.

    Well then, are you communicating to something questionable? Satellites, missile defense, launch codes....... NEVER MIND, I am better off not knowing...
