inb4 all the "Top Gear without Clarkson sucks" :p

I don't see why we can't have 2 automotive shows on air that can be enjoyed, both TG and whatever the trio's new Amazon show will be called. One thing that was great about Top Gear (other than the hilarious stunts) was that generally, you didn't have to be a hardcore motorhead to understand what they were talking about (then again the over the top metaphors may have helped :p). Hope they kind of keep to that spirit.

    ^Ha.

Definitely agreed that you can definitely have multiple motor shows. Loved watching TPUSA as well as TPUK (with the original trio), even though their presentation styles were very different. IMO though, Evans isn't as entertaining as Clarkson (or May or Hammond) and part of the appeal of TPUK was that it held no punches in their jokes. Don't know anything about Le Blanc, though I don't have much hopes for BBC reviving the TPUK brand to its previous popularity. They'll still keep the IP alive, of course, but the soul of TPUK is now with Amazon...

Sabine Schmitz yes. She does more than just present though, she's a legit excellent professional driver.

"Sabine Schmitz is a German professional motor racing driver for BMW and Porsche, also known for driving the BMW "Ring taxi" around the Nürburgring race track as well as being a television personality."

She was also featured on several TPUK episodes with the original trio. Typically whenever they went to Germany to do their thing. Nuremberg track stuff as well as silly things like the double-decker cars, iirc.
