You should definitely reinstall the OS in that case.

Yeah, a suggestion is to backup important items you have then reinstall your OS.

Oh, just wanted to throw out another option, in case the reinstall of the OS doesn't go through. try downloading HDTune (the free, personal version is good) which will display the S.M.A.R.T. info of the drive, it may be able to tell if it is dying or not.

    Thanks I will try that.

I do believe it is the OS as well and I was hoping there was an easier solution since I now have to re-install everything I downloaded before. May I ask you if you think the OS is responsible for games and music? What I mean is sometime Itune radio work for me and sometime games on Steam work for me and sometime it doesn't.

Also I had to shut down my computer 5 times and restart it for it to have the right window for me. Sometime it would lock me out when I start up my computer and someone it would have a blank solid non Window 7 screen and I have to shut down or restart my computer again hoping it the correct window. I really hope this is just an OS problem and nothing more.

That really smells like a memory issue. And maybe a HDD issue, but if it does odd things for no good reason, smells like memory.

Why not send the laptop in to Malibal? You paid for the warranty, might as well use it.

Agree with both. You can try doing the memtest86 or skip all that and let Malibal take care of the issue, I'm sure they'll get it straightened out for you :)
