    Unfortunately I'm returning this model, so we will see if my next H based i9 performs just as well.

    My Windows got corrupted after the latest update was applied. Couldn’t even use bcd or bcedit commands to get it back to bootable. Lost all my university work :mad:

    Safe to say I’m going to Mac now, HP Omen is up for sale, brand new Windows 10 Pro installed :)

    I ordered 16GB RAM & 5500M 4GB vRAM.

    I need 32GB RAM and 8GB vRAM.

    I'm actually debating now whether I should even bother going for the higher spec one.

    I find it faster than my 2013 rMBP for sure in Final Cut Pro X. But other than that I don't see it as much else.

    It loses USB type-A, HDMI out, SD Card reader (I use this a lot) so now I am debating...

    No more magsafe either so I can't charge using my Thunderbolt display.

    It's like I am going in a circle. I didn't like the 2016 and 2018 models either for similar reasons.

    The laptop itself is great but idk, keyboard on 2013 is still better as well.

    @custom90gt

    Not sure if I was you or another moderator but I mentioned a few days ago that the WiFi Signal on my MBP 15 (2019) was horrendous and weaker than even my 5 year old Dell Vostro in the same location which is in my office, only 10 feet away from my ASUS GT-AX11000 Router.

    With the previous laptop, I was getting only 190-200 MBPS Download out of my 570MBPS connection (if connected via wired LAN).

    Now with the MBP 16 I am getting 390-400 MBPS so maybe that particular laptop as you mentioned has a lose connection or something but at least now WiFi is usable.

    Also, although the specs are the exact same in terms of the CPU (i9-9980HK) this one boots much faster. Perhaps it's because it's able to maintain higher clock speeds due to better cooling, not sure what it is, the software I installed is the exact same as before. Perhaps it's the fact that the RAM is a bit faster? (2400MHz vs 2666MHz now)
