    im seriously considering buying a macbook pro as a desktop replacement. I'll be using it mainly for my last 2 undergrad years and possibly gradschool. The only gaming im planning on doing is diablo 3 so i want to be sure the laptop i buy will be able to run it effectively. i know its a long way in the future..but do most of you think the new mbp will be able to run it?
    also...can you download torrents on macs??

    Considering Blizzard is known for making their engines very compatible with bow low and high-end machines, I'd say even the 9400M would be able to handle the game very well. You should be able to play it on max settings with the MBP.

    As for the second question, of course. Use Azureus.

    Concerning torrents, i use utorrent for mac and it satisfies my needs completely.

    uTorrent is great! I'd highly recommend it. :) You may want to add it to the "OS X apps thread", but don't double post. ;) :p

    Well, World of Warcraft is available and works great on the Mac...that's what I play!

    yay!! and we can also use the 9400m for cooler temps.
