This is everything that you need to know before buying the new Mac Pro. It starts at $5,999 and goes as high as $52,599. You can literally buy a loaded Tesla Model 3 for that price. You still might want to wait for certain configuration options to arrive.

Hmm, could Apple be trying to rip us off? Max Tech tries to rationalize the costs...

Is the 2019 Mac Pro actually a RIP-OFF?!
    Dec 12, 2019

We compare the specs and prices of Apple's 2019 Mac Pro to various Windows PC Workstation configurations to see if it's actually a decent value or not. Apple's Mac Pro is no doubt the most beautiful and premium workstation computer ever made, but it comes at a price. The base 2019 Mac Pro starts at $6,000 and goes all the way up and beyond $52,000. The base model is expensive because you're paying for the premium case, a very high-end motherboard, an incredibly good cooling system and a 1400W power supply. Is it actually a rip-off or is it a pretty decent deal? We compare it to the Dell Precision 7920 Tower workstation, HP's Z8 G4 workstation, Titan computer's W522, Lenovo's ThinkStation P920 and Puget System's Peak HPC workstation.

It sure seems like everyone is overcharging together... sheesh, those prices... wow.

MaxTech channel content seems to be motivated to sell Apple Products...

Is Apple's Mac Pro Stand ACTUALLY worth $1000?

We just got the $1,000 Mac Pro Stand! Let's take a close look and see why Apple is charging so much for it.

"No...I'm sorry. Really...NO! This price is beyond any decency. I think we all have to rethink the way we are totally addicted to tech. We are losing any contact to the reality."

"When Apple is trying to creat an illusion that with their products only you can actually produce a better quality! Then you'll make a video reviewing a 1000$ Screen Stand explaining how good this is! "

"When you've been successfully alienated by a giant multimillion dollar company this is what you do"

"Almost 8 minutes of video for a stand? congrats! I understand, you have to produce content with what you have "

    "Thanks for under(stand)ing !"

However, when you buy a super expensive monitor from someone other than apple, it includes a stand and you don't get cornhole'ed an extra grand for it. Like wise, if you buy a computer case made for the floor, the wheels usually come with it or are like 20 bucks extra not 500. as for the cooling, if it's not liquid cooled it's not a very good cooling system since it's still just fans. I can make PC cases cool just as good if not better for 1/4 the cost.

    Parts is Parts?...

What's Inside the 2019 Mac Pro? Complete Disassembly and Analysis
    Dec 18, 2019
    Snazzy Labs
We have our hands on the newest $6,000 2019 Mac Pro for a compete teardown and parts analysis as compared to its PC brethren. Apple announced the new Mac Pro after years of waiting for a cheesegrater tower to replace the rapidly aging and woefully unsuitable trashcan Mac Pro released in 2013. While we don't have the new Afterburner card or the latest and greatest CPU configurations from Intel's Xeon W Cascade Lake X lineup, we do have Apple new hardware and answer many of the following questions: How do Apple's MPX modules work? Are the feet on Mac Pro removable? Can you use wheels other than the $400 wheels from Apple? Are other PCIe devices supported? How does the cooling system and fan configuration work? How is memory or RAM supported or inserted? Is the SSD upgradable by the end-user? And so much more!
