    Hi,

I just want to buy a M860TU. It's not easy to find it in France. But before, I just want to have yours opinions about heat and noise :

What I have to expect really ?

    Thanks to reply,

    Crys :)

People are still only starting to receive their M860TU's so any major problems inherent in the machine are yet to fully surface (if any).

Have a look at Gophn's Clever Clevo Guide if you're still trying to find a decent French seller. If you can't find one I can suggest taking a look at other, European mainland resellers. DevilTech and Xxodd have been most helpful on my searches for a decent seller if you need an personal recommendations.

From the few that have so far received and did a mini review here, noise is not a problem. While it is not the most quiet notebook, it's not one of the most loud either.

It quieter than the 5791 that I'm typing on right now.

It also has a greatly improved cooling system over previous models. Which is good, because it need it to accommodate the increased heat output from the 8800M

Anyone know which way the air flows in and out of the vents?
I want to build or buy a cooler for the unit I just ordered and it would be helpful to know which way the air flows on the bottom of the unit.
    thanks
