    Hey,

Im looking for a new Wi-Fi card for my M18xR1. I got new 300 Mb/s internet connection and obviously my Intel 6200-AGN can't give me full speed. What are the recommended models? I heard Intel 7260AC has a lot of problems and im thinking about BCM94352HMB

    Regards

My choice is Intel 6300, it is an excellent card, excellent range and more than enough speed throughput

    Killer 1202 for N
    Intel 7260-AC for AC

I'm using 7260-AC perfectly fine in my M18x.

One more vote for the 6300 from me. If you don't mind losing Bluetooth (you can add an internal module maybe like Dell 380 Bluetooth).

I had the 7260AC but on 5GHz band it failed miserably due to the lack of the antenna. 6300 uses 3 antennas.

6300 is too slow + bugged drivers that I use now for 6200. I have AC router now. Through cable I got 288 Mb/s

Main battle is between Intel 7260-AC and Dell 1550 aka Broadcom BCM94352HMB.

@jerryzago what's problem with 5GHz band on 7260? It uses two cables anyway.

What drivers is everyone using with intel 7260-ac?

Ive had two different cards in two different m18x systems without issues. I always use the latest intel drivers from their website.

7260 is not available in my country while Broadcom is.

@GodlikeRU 7260 5GHz range was a crap. I got 300 - 270Mbps when I was next to my router. Across the room, speed was lower than 150. My chrome cast was OK, so it wasn't my router. I have a tplink n600.

My 6300 at 5GHz has 200 in the next room, through a concrete wall and stays there. I get a constant 12 - 17 MB/s speed between my R2 and my NAS (wired to router with 1Gbps speed).

Never had these with the 7260. At 2.4 range was OK, speed was not!

I do feel limited at 100MB/s on my 1GB Down connection but could be a router issue
