No amount of INF modding is going to fix a power delivery deficit, but good luck!

Even if you can somehow TDP mod it to around ~150W and have it not power throttle, my question is, would it be more viable than a 1070 for actual performance? If not, a shame indeed...
At least it didn't cost you too much, and you still have a use for it

This is the driver where I will be able to do a benchmark using the gtx 1080 on the R4...Hopefully .... the drivers I have used before uses integrated , my driver modding suck .

Don't know if that's such relevant here: but the R4-MoBo doesn't seem to be capable of delivering more power than round about 100-105w stable.
Saw this when I played around with my 1060 and open vBios, raised power limit up to 150W, above 100w the FS-Score got more and more worse.

Same card on a clevo (P570 IIRC) went raising scores far above 100w.

    GREAT NEWS !!!!

So apparently , I noticed something that i did not noticed before.

    1) The GPU fan is broken on this Bios (Not Spinning) , thus the reason it is shut down ( GPU got too hot )

    2) I replaced the dual 330 Watts PSU for a single PSU 330 Watts (Previous PSU had PerfCap)

Edited Conclusion: 330 Watts is no problem for the M17X R4. RAM and CPU can bring better score as I have low specs on this machine. Running in PEG via External HDMI Out and I am using the nVidia Desktop 399.07. HWinfo for spinning the fan and have 3 Fans underneath for added cooling. :)

    Nice work!

I guess the final question is going to be, can you get it working through eDP on the built in panel.

    Nice! This is good!
If you get good 2133/1866 RAM and a 3920XM (total about $300) you could likely boost that up by 2K-3K (hopefully) but you might actually be power limited
Edit, can you run a few games?
Edit Numero Dos: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/11556382 1070 at stock speeds in a P7xxDM2-G
Likely, you'll be able to beat it if you can get a better CPU

I'm not sure , maybe different bios will allow that to happen. I don't plan on getting a bios flasher anytime soon lol. But you never know , I might get bored and get itchy fingers. I might be looking into retrofiting an 18.4" 4K LCD via HDMI out (in the future). They have those on Ebay ... lol

I have to sell most of my parts laying around the house first...
