Does the M11x R2 whitelist Wi-Fi cards? I'm getting one next week and would like to replace its old WLAN card with a Killer 1535. Can I do that, or is the Dell BIOS limited in this regard?

Sorry for the delayed reply, but not at ALL. At least with the A05 BIOS, I've made my own unlocked version (T|I runs Coinhive malware on their site), but it has nothing modified to enable/disabled any extra hardware functionality. Even further, I decided to fool around with the Extra PCI-E slot that the WWAN usually hangs out in; you can actually install dual WIFI cards if you wanted to. Both of which fully worked out of the box (Did it myself today). I'm actually thinking about adding a Mini PCI-E USB 3.0 controller in the WWAN slot, then installing a high end GPS module in there. Would be a neat machine to have that level of functionality in the size. Or perhaps I go eGPU, possibilities are limitless with that extra slot.
