    Well, after all these years, this machine is definitely showing its' age now. Struggles with just browsing the web and lots of stutters just streaming sites. It has been a good ride but it is definitely time to pack it in with this machine.

    It is still in mint condition and I am sad to have to retire it. Anyone else still using their M11x?

    I gave the 2 Mk1’s I had to my youngest two sons. Just something to play older games offline when they are at their moms house. The last time I tried anything with the Mk2 it was showing its age as well. My oldest son has it now and setting it up as a movie player for him and his girlfriend

    I'm still thinking even as a movie player it will still stutter.

    I was going to keep it around just to surf the web but the wait for pages to load and clicks to register was aggravating and too painful. I couldn't deal with it anymore.

    1.3ghz OC'd to 1.7ghz just doesn't cut it anymore. I mean think about that, 1.7ghz :vbtongue::vbtongue::vbtongue:

    Have you tried a new SSD or memory or do you think it's the processor?

    I did change out the original HDD to a 500gb SSD as well as increasing RAM to 8GB from 4GB so it is definitely the processor.

    Just tried playing a game through Stadia and what a total fail :no::no::no:
    Couldn't even get past the first turn on a racing game because it stuttered so much. LOL.

    I upgraded my R1 with an SSD a while back and recently managed to install Garry's Mod and the latest Minecraft Java to give the boy an alternative to his Nintendo Switch during the school holidays. GMod runs not too badly, Minecraft is OK if I drop the settings to the absolute minimum. Fall Guys is also reasonably playable. I've been hunting for the version of the 0.95V BIOS mod which won't brick an M11x R1 when it's set to Discrete mode, to try to squeeze a little extra performance out of the thing, but unfortunately all the links appear to be dead.
