I don't know if it's ever been answered before... but where are the best stores/websites (besides the official sites) to buy notebooks in Canada? I know Futureshop and BestBuy can have decent offers once in a while, and someone one mentioned Milestonepc.com... is there anything else?

    Try http://www.directdial.com/ca/shop/

I have never used them but they seem to have access to multiple warehouses across Canada for quick shipping. Be sure to ask about their return policy.

Brilliant FAQ. I've been surfing for a week now before my new laptop buy and this is one of the most informative I've read.

    Thanx

    How would the 128MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7200 or 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7400 fair up against the 256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™? Aussuming I run on a Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T7200 (4MB Cache/2.00GHz/667MHz FSB) with 2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHZ, 2 DIMM

Yes they have been around for awhile. Clevo, ASUS and MSI laptops. Good prices and service.
