    Greetings,

I am interested in buying a working Dell Nvidia Geforce GTX 980M (non-g-sync) for my Alienware 17 R1.

Now, I am here merely to ask what sellers/stores are most trustworthy for such a purchase, considering that I need it delivered within the EU.

    Thank you for your time.

Ebay and AliExpress may be your best bets I think.
It would cost £189 or £199 (depending on which seller you buy from), however, it would need to be imported from China mainly (which may incur extra import fees).
I'm sad to say there aren't that many resellers of laptop parts here in EU (and I'm in UK).

If that's not an option, have you considered getting yourself a new laptop?

I know 980m is still a capable GPU, but, you'd be spending roughly £200 on it... and while I know that's not exactly the same as spending about 5x-6x more cash on a completely new laptop, you would get a much more powerful system overall (you can easily get a Zen 2 laptop today with 8 cores and 16 threads such as 4800H or 4900H and an NV RTX 1660ti or 2060 for example.

I can see the appeal in spending just £200 now and continue to save for a new system down the line if the existing one is serving you well, but as I said, finding resellers of laptop parts in EU (which wouldn't rip you off in the process) could be difficult... unless there are resellers I didn't know about.

Man these things are expensive! Last time I checked eBay, they went for £300-500... As Deks said it may be cheaper to get a whole new laptop :/
