pure aesthetics & interior design: S5

    pure performance -- a 4-door Corvette: CTS-V

2 completely different cars that fill 2 different niches.

P.S. - forced induction does not equal shorter lifespan. it just means u have to stay on top of maintenance and monitor your cooling/fluids more often to ensure that everything is working up to par.

Didn't you have a V? How does it cope with snow and rain?

What kind of performance you mean? Deep snow or icy roads... snow covered icy roads?

    Shameless advertising:
I've driven on the unplown left lane speeds of 100+ kph when I got bored on others driving on the plown side about 70. However it's not most polite thing to do because it rises huge snowcloud behind car and reduces their visibility to 0. ;)

Depth of snow... well, up to license plate is fine if speed is slow. Then it starts to rise on the hood/window.

Someone else doing it. Unfortunately I have no video of my car, just pics. Its fun anyways.

Second problem comes when snow packs under car and wheels do not connect to ground anymore. Then it's time to take the shovel and anti skid mats from the trunk... :D It is true that with 4WD you can get stuck in places other's cannot go to. With a Land Rover you'll just get in farther before getting stuck.

I have no idea if those are arranged anywhere near, especially since snow is rare this time of year.
Like this or that... Some winter I'll arrange my holiday so that I can participate there. :p
