Background and things that were not asked / answered fully:

I've only ever owned laptops, two so far and I'm currently writing from my second one but I'm looking to change it. At the 1300€-1800€ mark, I'm looking for thin bezels, longevity, good build quality, 17" screen and although it won't be for gaming, a minimum of GTX1050. So far I've been looking at Asus (ROG Strix Scar, TUF Gaming FX705GM), MSi (Raider GE75 8RE) and Dell (G3, Alienware R4, Alienware R5). What would you recommend from these, or another of your choice? Also, is it true about the build quality in MSi laptops being notoriously bad? I'd appreciate any responses, thanks.
