Looking for an RTX 3080 laptop

    I am mainly looking to get one of the ROG ASUS laptops, but they all seem to be out of stock. Is there anything good right now in stock or going to be in stock in the near future?

    2) What size notebook would you prefer?

    That's a massive budget. If you can wait, get the Lenovo Legion 7 with 5900HX, and 3080 160W.

    130W?For this you will need a 330W power supply.

    16GB does matter if you want to make the most of out the card, and would like some future proofing.

    I looked at the current Lenovo 7, even though they look nicely minimalistic, i think ASUS looks better, so if im going to wait for something potent, may as well wait for an ASUS ROG.

    The most i saw for laptops is a 160W, which ones are with 330W?

    How exactly does vram improve gaming performance? i mean i know that ram helps run more programs at once on a system, but how would that work with vram?

    Not sure which laptops you looked at, but all 3080 laptops will have more powerful PSUs. Think about it, the GPU itself may need up to 165W, and what about the CPU and rest?

    More VRAM in games will be mostly used for higher resolution textures.

    i guess i was confused between the power needed for the vidcard and the power adapters max wattage.

    honestly the best bet right now so far is the ge66 or ge76 by MSI
