Hello I've been soliciting of multiple forum for help on getting a laptop for college. I've come to the conclusion that getting a sager 8651 seems a little to bulky and the battery life is really bad to use in college. I kinda want a thin a light and I was really looking at the xps 13 but it looks just to small for me as I have very large hands and what I'm primarily doing is type and it seems like it would just be to cramped. I looked at the yoga 3 and it seems to have a really bad performance issue. I have a rig that I plan to take to college with me to do my gaming on and if I was able to save $ on a laptop then I could upgrade it.

The NP8651 isn't heavy let's be honest... it's like 2.5kgs... I used to lift my 4kg+ G73JH and M17x R4 daily around campus... The only other choice is the Lenovo Y50 but it's hardly any lighter... You can try getting the Gigabyte P34W which is 1.6kgs with 970M but it's out of your budget...
