Long term users of Lenovo IdeaPad 700-15: How durable is it?

    If you keep the machine clean internally, heat shouldn't be an issue. As for build durability, you get what you pay for - if you take care of it, should last as long as any other mainstream machine.

    It seems to me that overheating is a somewhat regular issue (according to various threads on the net) with this model. It doesnt bother me that much in the moment, but if it speeds up the wear and tear of the machine it's a damn shame.

    Do you have an IdeaPad 700? What are your experiences with it?

    LM did a stress test and the machine managed to hold baseclock, albeit with high CPU temps. GPU temps were very good.
    Overall, under gaming load it will be perfectly fine.
