linux elementary OS on older macbook. A couple of questions

    eOS is great but, for an easy to use laymans OS they sure are retarded sometimes. it doesn't support any other GPU other than intel unless you know how to manually installed the driver finder program from ubuntu/*buntu. the latest version doesn't support .deb packages so you have to install gdeb or some other .deb package installer.

    I have the same problem on first general core duo (not core 2) that i installed win 10 on. no keyboard back light and no right click. i just use a wireless mouse since it gets so hot i'll never use it my lap.

    Yeah I found it resource intensive. Since I switched to Mint, it's much faster and cooler!
