Going to be a bit of a rant here, but I've had enough of seeing people such as Linus make videos like this "recommending" a laptop that thermal throttles out of the box, that has poor battery life, horrible I/O, BGA aids and that costs $2,200. It achieves nothing of what it set out to do: it can't game and its not portable - so what is the point in anyone buying it? The lack of proper criticism from those who review laptops is part of the reason why it has become so acceptable to stick a bunch of flashing lights on your keyboard and call a mid range heap of trash a "gaming laptop". Can't say I blame them for reviewing this garbage, since Asus likely gave it to them for free - but the quality of the review is terrible and avoids all of the most important things you need to know when you buy a GAMING laptop. I don't think they were paid by Asus, it just seems like a quick low-effort video they felt obliged to make, but one which perpetuates the view that this thin and light BGA aids is acceptable for a gaming laptop.
