    LG V30 anyone?

So far its looking really good, getting praised for its OLED display, IP68 rating, Dual cameras with F1.6 camera aperture and wide angle lens, Quad DAC audio processor w/ headphone jack, wireless charging, and extensive video creation software.

I read that. He makes some good points but sorta comes off as angry.

Ron Amadeo can be hypercritical of any non-Nexus, non-Pixel Android phone.

I think it's important to note that none of the other hands-ons I've seen from other reputable review sources like Marques Brownlee, Erica Griffin, etc have complained about screen quality...and Erica was one of the first to call out LG for the G5's quality control issues, so she's no shill or fangirl.

I'm not sure if any of the other reviewers took a look at the V30 screen quality on minimum brightness. It did get praise for its max brightness though.

Even if the lighting isn't even when viewing a solid color at minimum brightness, if no uneven lighting is detectable in other conditions, does it really matter that much?

The problem is, this is LG. They always find something to mess up both hardware wise and software.

Gotta say, this phone peaked my interest, despite glass back (inb4 get a case) and somewhat inadequate battery size (IMO phones with QHD displays need a bigger battery).
Wonder how much will it cost.

So apparently LG V30 is gonna go on sale in Germany in November, for MSRP of around €900 (according to Notebook check)...
Let's see how the price will change in 4 or so months. Sammy Galaxy S8 can already be found for €530.
Otherwise Oneplus 5 here I come... Or maybe Blackberry Keyone.

US rumored price is going to be $810, with sprint quoting $900 for the V30+ (128gb). I really can't "lol" or "facepalm" enough at the sprint price. Walmart is now selling the older V20 for $300.
