    Hello,
Recently I've noticed that from time to time Windows 10 after booting or waking up doesn't react to fingerprint login. The sensor stops working until next reboot or device disable/reenable. It's quite annoying becase using PIN number requires some extra clicks. I can't narrow what is the real issue however I've tried driver reinstall, the whole OS reinstall and disabling power management setting in Device Manager. Maybe it has something to do with eGPU. Any suggestions?

I had this issue a long time ago. I wish I could recall what fixed it, but it has truly been a long time since this happened. Try resetting the BIOS to defaults and checking for new firmware which can be done by: device manager->Firmware->LG System Firmware->right-click->Update Driver->Update Automatically.

OH.. also uninstall the Intel RST software unless you are actually using it's features. The MS provided AHCI driver is a better option for nearly everyone. Intel's RST software and IAStore driver causes latency and performance issues (it did for me anyway).

Also make sure Win 10 is completely up to date.

I know some of these suggestions are probably not the problem. All I can think of to try off the top of my head.

Thank you for answering; I have already tried resetting/updating BIOS (LGE firmware) without success. Regardless, it seems that if I disable Power management on Goodix driver AND on corresponding Intel virtual interface which it's connected to it no longer has responsive problems. Haven't seen it till now, anyway.
Regarding Intel RST driver - mine LG doesn't seem sluggish or hangs in any perceptive way. Do you still recommend removing that driver completely?

I like the "if it's not broken don't fix it" mentality there. I'd leave it alone if you're happy.

It seems my issue is still here. Not so sure about that SPI interface being the issue anymore but something's wrong anyway as every reboot SPI device sleeping feature gets re-enabled. If anybody have the solution I would be thankful.
