Did anyone out there get a G6? If so, how happy/unhappy are you with it?

Ditto, I'd like to know also.

I'm still considering the G6. The S8 is tempting because it comes with double the storage and an amoled screen, but while I don't mind touchwiz, I hate the amount of bloatware that Samsungs come with. Should I be concerned the G6 is using a 2 year old camera sensor?

I'm personally on a hiatus from Samsung after personally having five hardware problems in twelve months (Note 7 recall, S7 Edge pink-line screen failure, defective wireless charger, flying-off-lid washing machine recall, broken water pump on same washing machine). If I don't hold onto my S7 Edge long-term, it'd be nice to know what non-Samsung 2017 Android flagships are making people happy.

Also, I really hate the fingerprint sensor location on the S8, and I'm kinda over the curved edges too (which both S8s now have). The G6 looks like a much better fit for me on paper.

didn't we have enough S8 issues already? Bluetooth issues, screen issues, and my S7 is still on the Feb security patch. Samsung, never again! they forget their older devices with OS updates the moment a new one is released. Not to mention, all Samsung phones suffer from horrible standby time even if you turn off all background data. I experienced it on every Samsung phone I owned since the Note 4 up until my last one which was the S7 and S7 Edge and Note 7

LG G6 users in the US get one extra year of warranty

To keep its latest flagship relevant in a very competitive market, LG has decided to extend the limited warranty for the G6 to two years. Sadly, the Second Year Promise program is only available in the US.

U.S. owners can sign up for the LG G6 Second Year Promise Program today at www.LGG6Promise.com. For more information, please visit www.lg.com. Terms and conditions apply. See full site for details.

I know it's all about money, but this is so blatantly discriminating. We pay the same or bigger money for the same product, yet getting worse service.

I'm not sure I'll upgrade this year after all, but the upcoming V30 sounds nice. I'd really like to see LG stepping up their flagship game with their own OLED panels, and a nice DAC paired with the latest SoC would be welcome too. They really need to make room for a larger battery capacity than last year's V20 though (3200 mAh @5.7" 1440p).
