Im not a expert for this. But when i put the anti glare film (i removed it now) in front of a light u can see that the ligth is split into red, green, blue.
there is no reflection with anti glare film cause the light is spread. So everything in the background get a litte bit fuzzy. Maybe with a perfect anti glare film you have no side effects. but...i paid 20 euro for this ...to be honest paying more is not worth for me. i send the notebook back and hope to get another book with anti glare display. its a little bit sad cause the rest of the notebook is perfect.

to answer your question: i realy dont know. there are thousand of people which use this book every day and are very happy. maybe the glare display or with an anti glare film this notebook is good for you.
i picked full hd cause i dont rly need higher resolution on a 15 inch notebook. i use right now a 14 inch with full hd..even here i have to set my windows settings to 125% -150% zoom.

    What are temps during gaming?
I've read reports and they are either good or bad, some say it runs hot while others don't , so I'm asking actual owners that have had this laptop .

Yes, 13'' is better than 15'' regard TB3!
15'' is TB3 2x not 4x and does not have PD, instead 13'' is 4x and has PD!

    Hi, Sorry for late answer.
    I send it back.
The temps were good/very good in games like dota and league of legends. When you use framelimitier (60 frames per seconds) then you will never hear fan.
    I didnt try newer games.

No, G-sync reduces battery life by a LOT. It's useless on a device such as this.

My short review on the dimensions I care about is below. Feel free to post any questions.

    Build quality
    • All metal, understated.
    • If macbook is 9 / 10 build quality I would say this is 7 or 8 / 10.
    • Converts easily into a tablet, amazing you can game on it too.

    Gaming
    • Runs Overwatch at 60 frames on highest graphics settings.
    • Noise is low (also low fan pitch is pleasant).
    • Temperatures around mid 70's (Celcius).

    Display
    • I always turn displays up to 100% brightness so no problems for me here.
    • My usage profile is usually at night without reflections to trouble a glossy screen.
    • Touch screen is nice, about as responsive as a good quality smart phone.

    Price
    • Wait for the discounts, like Dell these periodically get reduced by hundreds of dollars when you buy direct.

    Note:
    • Lenovo have limited the CPU to prevent it turbo boosting very often.
    • This is likely due to the fact it is a convertible so the heat needs to be limited in some modes (eg: tablet).
    • I personally saw this as a big plus because it also means it runs cool and quiet.
    • It didn't cause any issues with the games I play.
    • My thoughts are that if you need more power to run games you should be getting another type of machine (like a Gigabyte Aero) where you are prepared to put up with more heat and noise.
