I have a Windows Phone, so I am somewhat accustomed to the Metro UI...
But I also don't think a Mobile/Tablet OS have any place on a desktop either at least not until the majority of PC screens become touch-screen capable.

Likewise (Nokia Lumia 900). Love it on the smaller form factor, but I'd prefer the Start Menu and taksbar over Metro UI on anything bigger than a tablet. Besides, a touch-screen laptops is weird imo. :p

After I updated the lastest graphic card driver for my W520 (Quadro 1000M), when I was playing PES 2013, Bluescreen error occured. Then I could not started my laptop with optimus or discrete graphic, I had to select intergrated card. I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled old driver so everything was OK. What's wrong with the lastest driver of Nvidia ?

Hope we soon get Update software for Windows 8, also as some said if you want to develop for Windows 8 / WP8 then you have to have Windows 8, and tbh I like the new start menu more than the old, try to imbrace it instead of just saying "I want my old looks now!" its so much faster to open software this way if you pin the software you need on your start screen.

In power manager, i set screen to NEVER SLEEP when on AC adapter, however it's always coming back to 20minutes (default setting?) after a while... So annoying! I'm using last version i think. What can i do to fix this?

    Hey guys,

Just out of curiousity, is there any way to change the boot screen/logo?
I believe it was possible on older systems (eg T60)
