DO NOT BUY LENOVO PRODUCT. THE WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EVER. Here is what I had to go through once I realised my tablet (LENOVO TAB 2) is not charging properly (I can give more clarification on the issue if you need since its so complicated and brings a massive headache if I wanna post the full malfunction I'm experiencing with). Lenovo support page has massive problems (https://support.lenovo.com/error.html?code=25fe56ea7ba9ea698d204a82376f057c&cb=/us/lt, Error Code : 25fe56ea7ba9ea698d204a82376f057c, 500 internal server error)

After going through numerous calls and spending a good amount of money; YES YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM TO FOLLOW THEM UP, THEY DONT ANSWER OVER EMAIL (no email provided), talking with different customere support members they simply told me the warranty is not valid in Europe despite the fact that I went through all the documents that I've kept since I bought the device and nothing has been mentioned there regarding the invalidaction of warrenty in Europe and now I'm stuck with a device that I have to spend almost the same amount of money to have it fixed. The customer support members are not responsive and they won't even bother to assist you in any way whatsoever. They only offered me to ship the device to the US which is quite non sense since I have to pay heaps of money for the shipment and by the time the device is gonna reach the US the warranty is gonna come to the end. STAY AWAY FROM ALL LENOVO PRODUCTS, ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE AND THE HEADACHE.

    pfff try Asus.

That stinks though man. Consumer grade support just mostly stinks these days. Business class is really the only responsive customer service at this point (although for gaming many resellers are great HIDEvolution, XoticPC, Eurocom, LPC Digital, Prostar etc... all communicate well).

I agree with asus being the worst, but like you said its all consumer grade. I had a 2 in 1 asus that I tried 3 times to get fixed and each time they let the repair expire without sending me anything to collect the machine and send it back. I asked all 3 times if I could just send it back my self and they said no we have to send a box to you.

Between this and the motherboard debacle with my x58 boards (still sitting on the shelf) I will never purchase another asus product. I do have a asus x205 cheapo laptop that I gave to my mom thats been nothing but amazing for both myself and her. So there is that...

When they work Asus products are fine. It's just with them that seems to be less often than other companies.

I agree. I am also a firm believer in companies like Xoticpc as their support is on point. I have since switched to them for all my business pc needs as its cheaper and easier then building myself and supporting individual pieces and their separate warranties.

Now if only they made server class rigs....

Er ok, I just want to say I highly highly recommending building your own personal rigs to anyone reading this. Buying them through resellers is almost literally throwing money away. XoticPCs Havoc rig for example starts at like 1300 bucks with just an r7 360 (the cpu to be fair is good). A 1070 jumps the cost to freakin 1600 dollars. That's several hundred dollars over what you could be paying on your own. (Also this isn't a shot against XoticPC they are great but desktop builds from all the resellers are overpriced).

Have you ever built 20 or 10 or even 5 of the exact same PC and then had to support them and all the individual warranties? Its a major pain in the ass, and to build a pc you'll spend about the same as most offerings from xoticpc. What you get with the little extra is centralized support.

For a home user with 1 pc sure go build away. If I ever have a desktop again I will surely build it myself, but for the office no thanks!

Oh yeah no building for an office never made sense. You didn't specify you were doing that.
