So if you run both in max fan in dx12 on preset ultra settings. What does each rig achieve in FPS?
    Thanks

Averaged 71 fps in the benchmark. Adjusting a couple settings that don't affect graphics much at all brings it to 78 fps.

I have been deciding what to buy between MSI and the lenovo y740.. But today i decided on trying the y740 and see if keyboard, performance, noise, screen was ok for me to use.

    I bought the Lenovo Legion Y740-17IRHg ( 17.3" / i7-9750H / 16GB / 1TB SSD M.2 / RTX 2070 maxq/ Win 10).

Screen: seems pretty ok, not to much BLB.

Keyboard: Not liking it yet for typing, I am used to another type of keyboard so we will see if I can learn to like it.

Noise: when running firestrike the machine got a bit louder but completely ok noise levels. I dont have a decibel meter sadly so it is hard to say, but it feels like a low tune which makes it be less noticeable for me atleast.

    Performance (firestrike v1.1):
    Stock (performance mode) gave
    Firetstrike score of 15168
    Graphics of 16779
    Physics of 16929

UV CPU core and cache by 110mv
OC GPU Core and mem by 150 & 300 gave
    (still performance mode in vantage)

    Firestrike score of 15 812
    Graphics score 17 624
    Physics score 17 136

Temp max on GPU was 75 and the CPUs max was between 80-90 (average max around 85).
Average was lower but i forgot to check HW info directly after the tests.
Sorry for the text results, but i dont know how to add screenshots:)
    Are these decent results?

Edit: ingame in witcher 3 the cpu temps goes to 90+ in average... definately higher compared to in the stress test.

Temps are comparable to mine. Scores are slightly lower than mine. I have a 2080 gpu, though.

    cool, thanks for the input.
It seems like good cooling and pretty quiet on everyday use. I hope the keyboard will grow on me:)

    Hello,

My question is about the HDR in Division 2 on the new 9th gen models, so now the tab that's greyed out in the graphics menu is now available to switch on? What about windows HD color? Is there a tab in that windows menu to turn on "Play HDR games and apps"?

    Thanks.

I am not completely sure what you are asking:)

Anyway in settings for windows HD Color i found functions for screen:
The screen had a yes for stream videos in HDR
however it was a no for "Play HDR games and apps".

    Has this been confirmed?

The 81UF0000US model with the 1660ti says the display is g-sync.

Edit: I just saw BassTek’s post above where he links an actual product page and the g-sync is not listed in the display section...

    https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/Len...40&irgwc=1&PID=27795&acid=ww:affiliate:bv0as6

Lenovo really needs to update their sale page as they are misleading customers who are buying a laptop thinking it has g-sync when it in fact does not.
