1.05 actually spools the fans up for me. 1.06 takes to long on the ramping and heat has already soaked in.

Yes, you are right. Should be a GSync Setup section. I thought maybe for some reason it may have been disabled or not checked. I thought both panels (300 nit and 500 nit) were GSync. At least the US Lenovo site indicates that they are. I have the 300 nit panel and it does.

Are you guys saying G-sync does not work on any Y740 machines?

G-Sync does not work on the 1660ti. It only works on 2060+ Y740s

Have you noticed any difference in clock speeds? What clocks are you getting during stress tests? (In case you ran any...).
If you don't mind.. What temperatures were you getting with 1.06 bios and what temperatures are you getting after reverting?
    Thanks.

I confirmed G-sync on my panel using the demo here https://www.nvidia.com/coolstuff/demos#!/g-sync

I can confirm if the test is real and actually works I did notice screen tearing when i disabled g-sync from the demo.

Hey everyone. I've asked a question regarding thermal performance in another thread on this forum. If anyone here can and willing to answer it, I will really appreciate it.

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/need-an-advice-should-i-try-to-exchange-my-y740.829973/

Long story short - I am concerned with my temps reaching 90s during combined CPU /GPU load. (I am not talking about short spikes). Are these temperatures too high and could possibly indicate that I've got a faulty unit? I have 2080 max-q GPU if it matters.
