HyperX doesn't cost that much more so I would grab the 32gb set. If you are upgrading memory going from 16gb to another 16gb doesn't do that much. And if you have the amd version 16gb sets usually are single rank memory and would benefit from dual rank set more. Not sure if intel has the same thing..

There is a comparison when using lower speed memory with tighter timings vs 3200mhz cl20 memory

I have the Legion 5 17.3"(2021) 5800H 3060 2x8Gb , Lenovo says only 16Gb was tested. But i have seen people say 32Gb works and maybe 64, but that is dubious.
My idea is to go to 32Gb

Interesting, got a very good score in Cinebench R23 multicore CPU benchmark:

13214 point, superior to any value in Notebookcheck.net.
Biggest value there is 13002 from an Asus.

No, stock 16Gb, but i am not sure how much memory matter for Cinebench..
Cinebench R23 is a easy test to make just download it here ,https://www.maxon.net/en/downloads/cinebench-r23-downloads

there is not no need to install just decompress, open it and let it run for 10 minutes in multicore without using the computer for anything else.

Just curious, if I have external displays hooked up and I close the lid I’m wondering if that negatively affects temps.

Has anyone seen testing regarding that kind of situation?

Some heat can dissipates trough HDMI port and via keyboard, but it is minuscule.

Nice Atma, Good results. I did not measured my temps but they were not that high. What was the ambient temperature?

About 23c. Think I will try a repaste before too long and see if it matters.
