Last night when I was browsing, the darker colours immediately started showing off as green. The GPU temps. are normal and I have even switched to VGA mode by uninstalling the Nvidia driver. Still the same problem. Ihave uploaded the image of my wallpaper. It is a blue wallpaper actually but it is now appearing as ugly green. Please advise as to how to proceed.

Well it looks pretty blue over here. I believe it's a LCD failure rather than a graphics card issue, is it still green with an external monitor?. In any case, if you have a warranty, now would be the time to use it.

I did a prnt scr and uploaded the file via imageshack. So still appearing all green to me and distorted. However I am still able to browse. Do I have to replace the LCD or is it a loose cable issue? I have a HP Care pack that is valid till December 2010.

Until you connect an external monitor to check if the issue is also present there, i can't say exactly. But it does sound more like a loose/broken cable than anything else.
