Hey guys, this E6320 that I purchased from a local college has an odd issue. The back of the LCD panel, the lid, has a portion that is lifting up.

The laptop works great, the LCD panel isn't damaged and all is fine. It just seems like either an adhesive has let loose or there is a missing clip?

Does anybody have any ideas about this? I haven't been able to find more on this, seems like this is an isolated event.

    Thanks

Yeah its the adhesive that's coming loose, we usually see it in the palm rest areas though, since a lot of of the plastic/ rubberized surfaces are glued to the tri-metal chassis of older latitudes.

    Thanks for the reply,

Any suggestion on how to fix it? super glue? I'd hate to take apart the whole LCD housing/panel and take a risk of breaking something inorder to fix this haha

You can get some good adhesive tape that the manufacturer's use on screens, that is what we would use to secure this
