I don't know if this is the right forum or not, but I just thought it would be fitting because my issue is sort of cosmetic. I recently got a Dell Latitude E3150 for school, and they were used. The top part of the laptop has glue where the school had to glue the sides where the plastic rim was falling off, and I've tried a bunch of things to get it off. It also has a large scratch on the same side. The laptop is like a grainy texture, and I don't know what to do about it, and it really bothers me. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm thinking that there are glues on the top cover.
We don't know what kind of glue was used, hot glue gun, super glue, adhesive for various materials

since there is a scratch, just buy a new lcd back cover on ebay and replace it yourself

edit : oops, posted on a "dead" thread
