Man... Others have migrated to XPS and 7490? Or everyone is soo satisfied with their devices that they don't read this forum at all? :)
Does any of you can check four-finger swipe on their Win10 OS to see if virtual desktops switch?
    Please...

    HI @ALL
I don't know exactly if somebody already posted a solution for a fitting m.2 ssd drive with pci-e interface.

Does anyone tried the RC100 SSD and to use it as a boot drive?

hi there. directly boot from nvme is not possible. but you can put your efi bootloader on the 2,5" sata drive and target to nvme. use the clover application for this. please be aware of this link:
    https://www.win-raid.com/t2375f50-G...r-UEFI-BIOS-Clover-EFI-bootloader-method.html
this instruction helped me. my windows 10 run on the nvme, but the EFI bootloader residents on the 2,5" sata drive. If you want more information feel free and write me PN.

That's clever, thanks for the update!
    Can you post a benchmark?

I'll try to do that, I have some questions...
    1) What BIOS version do you have? A20?
    2) Did you change any configuration in the BIOS for this to be possible?
    3) How did you put Clover in 2,5" sata drive i.e. how did you run BDU (Boot Disk Utility) and copied the Nvme .efi files? Or did you use a different method?

    Hi.
the results of the benchmark arent very good. I thnk this depend on the missing PCIx Lanes on the m.2 interface
    Read: 550MB / Write 510MB

1.) My Bios Version is on the latest avaiable Version from dell.com

2.) You dont have to change much in the Bios. As the EFI Boot Partion is on the SATA Driver, the Bios will automaticly detect the EFI Loader.

3.) I used a Windows 10 PE Environment. With Minitool Partition Wizard i created the 100 MB EFI Partion. You must set the right Partition Type. (Have a look at the EFI Boot Partion on a existing windows installation). With diskpart and the assign command i mapped a drive letter to the efi boot partition. after that i copied the clover in files on this drive. You have to look at the instructions i posted before. You have to copy the nvme driver in the right directory (i dont have the exactly directory in my mind). To tune up the boot process you can modify the settings file and set the wait time to 0. If you want to, i can copy you my settings file.

    best regards

    Florian

    Hi everyone!

Well, I just snagged 2 E7450's for $60.00 USD! :):):) Bare bone, no hard drive or memory, but still!

However, the come with the 1366 x 768 LCD's and I would like to upgrade them to something better. What is the "best" 1920 x 1080 LCD for these systems? I have the 30 pin Chi Mei N140bge-ea3 panels right now.

BTW, is there anything with a higher resolution than 1920 x 1080 that you can put on these systems?

    Thanks!

    zog

(EDIT) I have the 30 pin RK5DW cable.
