I have a late 2019 (October) Spectre x360 15 with the 4k touchscreen. Normally it sits on a laptop stand with the lid closed, and I have three monitors connected via an HP docking station. I recently took a trip and had to use my laptop, and that is when I noticed a white line had developed roughly in the middle of screen, extending from right edge about 2/3 of the way across the screen.

I did a screenshot and it is not visible, so I do not think it is video card. Plus, it does not appear on connected monitors. All updates and drivers were updated after I noticed, no change. I still have warranty until end of 2022...am I correct in thinking I am going to have to send it in for a screen replacement? It is most obvious on medium colors but you can see the white line with virtually every color but black.

If screen replacement is required, anyone know average turnaround time? This is my primary work computer, so I going to have to move everything over, temporarily, to a desktop while in for repair.

It's probably a bad LCD, but there's always other candidates. I had the WiFi antennas replaced on my ProBook. It was sent overnight both ways and took about five days as I recall. Of course, if the part is OOS, yo're going to wait.
