    Hello,

I have MSI GE75 10SF with 10875H and RTX 2070 it came with 16gb 3200mhz samsung single rank jedec memory.

I was going to buy 32gb kingston 3200mhz jedec but saw that crucial has 3200mhz cl16

Because my laptop has advanced bios and xmp i bought it and tried XMP. With XMP i am getting memory errors on memtest and blue screens so it is definitely not stable.

When I manually adjust primary timings to 18-18-18-36-560 on 1.35V it works i have tested memtest and prime95 so i am mostly sure that it is stable.

Has anyone ever tried ram overclock on this 10875h cpu what can i do i want to use the XMP and most importantly i want it stable.

I have tried bumping up the voltage to 1.5V overclocking this ram but no setting booted over 3200mhz.

Does this cpu and memory controller can't handle ram over 3200mhz and cl16 ? does anybody have experience.

Is it possible that the motherboard is setting wrong subtimings and it is why i am getting the errors?

Any help is appriciated. Thank you.

    io2 voltage ,.,xmp "ram 1.35V"
    gear 1

on msi forum is guide .,,.i try find him

    edit
    3200+ - gear2 - lower performance !

what do you have in the OVERCLOCK DOMAIN?
    only SA offset ??

    I think 10th vccio1 and vccio2 ??
or SA offset from 1.05V - need more for stability "around max 1.2-1.35 V" old platform

check HWINFO or bios for actual voltage on SA

    edit
if 1.05V ,.,try add offset + 100mV on UNCORE domain "in MSI bios"

These are the pictures of my bios which voltage you are referring to is it uncore? Will raising uncore get me stable at cl16

MSI - UNCORE domain is "System agent" - this contains + memory controller
    defaults - 1.05V

most this sensor information / setting missing on MSI "IO / SA voltage / DDR voltage is on some MSI locked / XMP not works "
try HWMONITOR in bios or HWINFO in windows
try to verify SA VOLTAGE "this too sometimes missing - no sensor"

    ,.,.from 1.05V "OFFSET" + 100mv - 1.15V SA -example

not need more than 1.15V "or 1.2V max "notebook limits"
    1.35V max -- for desktop users "24/7" + OC

    edit

DDR voltage from XMP profile - 1.35V "MAX" for better results
if the XMP profile would work properly on the MSI would automatically increase - IO / SA voltage
but this AUTO is sometimes -- above SAFE range :D

AIDA // CPU-Z - verify available SPD for your memory
    XMP profiles ??

    or alternative tuning
SA DOMAIN -- SA TRAINING and enable CL tuning// others
use your profile 18-18-x-x "ram profile CUSTOM"

after 3x reboot you have new profile "maximum" from AUTO-TUNE

,.,.bad RAM training or boot-loop - CMOS reset "45s power button"
