    1. What port/connector is my ASUS N56VM "laptop display" connect to?
    2. Is the video stream in a digital format or analog format?
    3. Are all laptop display made and connected to show video in digital or analog format?
I know that when the HDMI cable is connected TV the video is played in digital format and when my VGA cable is connected to my old monitor the video is analog format.

Via the connection/port. That is, if I understand correctly what you're asking?

Otherwise, it gets confusing since display doesn't really relate to digital or analog.

However, it you had to give it a title it would be analog, since that is the reality of the environment we live in. This would also apply to music, since the final reconstruction of the signal is in analog.
    If the above is true.

Now you're back to format where your answer is as you stated.

    Is this connector/port LVDS:

Yes, that what I'm asking but I have no idea where laptop display (LCD screen) cables are and not sure which port it's connected to. I only found a diagram from my graphic card control panel (look above).
Oh no, that's not what I mean. I asking if the video stream being sent to the laptop display is digital or analog. And to figure it out, I need to what what cable is being used and what it's connected to. Sorry for the confusing, I phrased it terribly.
