My laptop is <2 years old. From some time, I have this problem. When it's on power, it works fine. It also works fine on the battery as long as I don't move it. As soon as I move it physically, it crashes.
Can anyone tell what's the problem and what should I do? I recently bought a new battery so I am sure battery is not the issue.

Try cleaning the battery contacts. Is the battery fitting loose? What model are we talking about here?

I have tried cleaning them with cotton swab before but no luck. It is Clevo N957TP6.

It doesn't seem like loose to me

I am not sure I want to buy and wait for it to deliver until I am sure of the problem.

I was just reading about. I have only used dry cotton swab as of now. Can I try using alcohol to see if it works? Just a note. From outside, connectors look pretty clean.

Dry cotton swabs are worse than nothing. :)

You can try anything (and many times, the connectors 'seem' fine just looking at them), but if this is the issue, DeoxIT is what will fix it best.

Thank you so much for help. I will try alcohol tomorrow. DeoxIT is not available in my country but if alcohol makes even a slight improvement (so I know for sure that connectors are the problem), I will order DeoxIT immediately.

Thank you again. I did a few things. Bent the connectors gently, cleaned them with alcohol, and also stuffed some paper in the battery compartment to make it tighter.

I feel my PC is much more reliable today (~12 hours since). It crashed again today but not as often as yesterday. I just need to figure out whether it was alcohol or benting or paper which fixed it and do it better.

    What is the laptop model?

It might just be chassis flex, exacerbated if you pick your laptop only from one corner like so many people do.
