Mothers’s day Is around So been searching on the web for a laptop/Allinonepc/notebook/ pcdisplay that doesn’t have a screen that looks like a screen from the early 2000’s or a painting that was drawn with a Marker no dimensionally depth of Spades in an image just because there is no picture Processing for color metrics and backlight control Dimming or pixel switching the way colors look on a TN and IPS panel where they don’t have depth variations in gray scale bec of the limited gamma depth of 6 to 8 bits as of the closer to 10 bit for 2019 and maybe 2020 tv and the static contrast of 1000/1 ratio is not enough to create the variation between shades of colors colors look like a more uniformed shades in between of black than displaying true gray shades tones everything on screen even a display panel like a tv with a efficient desktop on the side to power it all if all the laptops notebooks or display that contain a pc are ips and tn than what to do

Ps. Looking for pcdisplay if that makes sense with qled panel or a mva type panel even oled That can display a level close to a tv flagship in terms of dimensionally and picture Processing while it having local dimming or a form of backlight control if there is anything out there as good than that would be amazing as a mother’s day gift

Does your Mom care about any of that stuff? You might want to consider the FAQ stuck at the top of this forum and post back. That would help us flesh things out.

For best screen panel quality I recommend Surface Book or Surface Pro. Happy Birthday!
