Kingspec SSD, are they any good?

    I've listed other 2.5" PATA SSDs here by OWC, Runcore and Renice here in this thread. The Renice E7 is recommended as it uses a proven native PATA EWS720 controller giving great compatibility and low power consumption. It does cost more but it gets 13-15k 4KB reads, or three times better than the results of the MyDigitalSSD posted by squeeto above.

    Renice E7 2.5" PATA SSD (Eastwho EWS720 native PATA controller)
    MyDigitalSSD 2.5" PATA SSD (controller=??, performance specs look like Indilinx BF + sata-to-pata)
