So I own a Dell Latitude E5420 14inch. And my problem is I’m typing and it just moves the other part of the word to another line/word. How can I fix this.
    Specs of this system
    Intel core i5-2540M@ 2.60 (?) ghz
    8gb ram
    250gb ssd
    Windows 7 pro sp1

Are you accidentally hitting the track-pad when you type?

This would be my guess as well.

Can you disable the track pad through the touch pad properties and see if the issue goes away? I've seen similar from a failing but not quite dead touchpad.

If that is confirmed to be the problem, you can leave it disabled and use a wireless or USB mouse, or replace the palmrest assembly.
