    I think that this is a great initiative, as well as a very smart move on the part of the KDE team. I switched to Linux for similar reasons (except in my case, it was a version of MacOS becoming unsupported, rather than Windows 7), and I could not be happier.

    I've been running Linux and KDE for ages (since KDE3, particularly as GNOME has gotten worse with every release). And UNIX prior to that. Definitely like this.
