This was on my W520. I push the ThinkVantage button and nothing appears. I looked at the "Removed Apps" folder that was created when W10 was re-installed and all things Lenovo related were deleted.

Is that a bad thing? Is there any Lenovo-related software these days I should download from Lenovo?

And, when I hover my mouse over the battery icon in the tray, while plugged in, it says "84% not charging". I used to go into Battery Maintenance and change the thresholds but there is no Battery Manager. And I haven't found a specific Windows 10 "Battery thresholds" area I can manipulate my battery charging. All I see is I can change the level of charge below which W10 turns off background apps to save the battery but that's not what I'm looking for.

That is best left to Lenovo support to answer your question.

You can get the drivers and utility software for your laptop from Lenovo's website:

    http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/p...Search=W520%2520Laptop%2520%2528ThinkPad%2529

This seems to be an older model, so I guess it was originally a Win 7 system? In that case you can try the Win 7 drivers for any devices/hardware that need drivers installed (if Windows did not automatically install them for you). Choose Win 7 x64 (or x32) from the drop down menu.

The utility that manages battery thresholds seems to be 'Power Manager'. I don't own a Lenovo and am not familiar with their other apps/utilities, but others should be able to tell you what you need to install for things like function keys, the ThinkVantage button, etc.
