    Hey all,

Granted, it's been awhile since I last attempted it, but has anyone gotten Windows 10 to run well on an Ivy GT60? While the system is more than capable of running Windows 10, the big problems I found were drivers for MSI specific hardware, like the top row buttons, keyboard mappings, etc.

Are there any drivers that will work with Windows 10, or are there any firmware updates required for it to work properly? Right now, I'm still on Windows 8.1.

    Thanks!

I haven't seen any comments about ivy GT60/70 and Win10, maybe the default drivers would work. Just have a try - I'm on 8.1 still and won't upgrade.

Well, I did try at one point and I had issues. That's why I went back to 8.1. I'm just asking if there's something I'm missing, as I don't want to go thru all the work trying it again only to find out I have to go back to 8.1.

I was just told today after fighting to install Windows 10 that it could not even be put on the GT60 2PC dominator- that Windows 10 wasn't compatible at all. I am surprised you even got it installed. I couldn't even get it to do that!

Win10 can use the drivers from Win8.1, so what is the problems that you run at with Win10?

I was told by windows that it won't install. I can't get the update to install on mine. However, that may just be the upgrade from 8.1 to 10 having issues -If I do a fresh install it will work? I just want to be sure the drivers are compatible if I can get it to actually install and I'm not stuck with a semiproblematic operating system. According to the windows person since there were no 10 drivers I was out of luck. It didn't seem to make sense to me.

You can actually use drivers from the haswell version of GT60/70 that officially supports W10.
I remember I had troubles with my killer NIC and wifi after upgrading to bld1709. I downloaded latest drivers from killers website and that was it.

I only tried it for a friend's laptop, but it was a barebones GT70. It works just fine on windows 10, current version and all.
