Even if that is the case, personally I haven't seen anyone have any issues on the Discord but have heard of bans on other media that, provided that there weren't details being left out, I would disagree with, that doesn't excuse his behavior or change why he was banned.

You can keep exalting him all you want but that is not going to alter what happened or the fact that his trustworthiness has been called into question and I cannot recommend his services to anyone after what has occurred.

Möbius is being denounced here because he advocated illegal activities. This called his personal integrity into question and is something that should be told to people who are considering sending systems to him (because, and you might disagree, I wouldn't send a laptop to someone who unabashedly advocated fraud).

You talk a lot about Fraud. This isn't the first time a see. Same from several Aw owners. They use it to get MB replacement due the well known TRIPOD mess.

What kind of illegal activities did he advocate?

Thanks mate. All for the love of the sport and cheers to that.

I have several systems with LM magic floating around Europe... @Pete Light is the only guy I would recommend reaching out to in that part of the World that I know personally, who would do a good job.

    Feel free to PM.

It'd be best to not open that can of worms. Info. can be found through proper channels.

I have several systems that have been LM'ed for over a year now and there are zero issues. This includes my MBPr, XPS 15 and AW laptops.

The only time LM can get a bit out of the norm is if there are gaps...which at that point is a given.

LM if done properly works wonders and will likely outlast the laptop as it doesn't deteriorate like traditional paste(s).

Nothing in the post you linked indicated that the poster was suggesting an unapproved or otherwise illegitimate motherboard exchange, in fact the original poster had talked to Dell and they were going to replace the heatsink and motherboard, so I don't see how that is relevant to the issue at hand. There is a huge difference between repairing systems with legitimately obtained parts and using stolen or otherwise illegally obtained ones (e.g. ones obtained through defrauding Alienware/Dell).

Also, even if it was a common practice, it doesn't change the fact that what Möbius endorsed is illegal and could have very real legal consequences. Plus, again, would you trust your system to a person who openly suggested fraud and theft?

    I know I wouldn't.

Without going into too many details, fraud, return fraud, and theft.

Is this thread about feedback ? Theres a feedback section of the forums for company reps and such as well as regular users.

Anyways sorry for derailing, but seems some have derailed it already.

As for feedback, I thoroughly enjoy @iunlock as a person and fellow enthusiast, while I never used his services personally, I know the type of work he does and person he is, because I view many similarities in the details he gives me, when we chat, and I know where he is coming from, so i am 100% willing to trust him, had I any need for his services personally. I personally believe he will in time have a long standing history like mine dealing with many customers and it will show for itself if it has not already in fact. I think, in terms of offers any 3rd party services, we're roughly been at it almost the same amount of time, maybe I am just slightly ahead of him and the LHz team, with graphic services specifically..

Now as for @Mobius1 , who has a long standing history of also helping people on NBR with troubleshooting issues and random tech support as well as sending people in the right direction - I don't see how anyone could hold a finger pointed at him like he is not trust worthy. I'd personally give him a chance in a heart beat if I needed it. Been years I've shared these forums with him and spoken to him at length many times.
I do not know what the current issue is with anyone talking about him or fraud, and not like I want to get involved, but if it involves DELL, back in the day - there are MANY MANY of us who have had our issues with the big company. I had so many long standing issues with them its not even funny. I always encouraged people to stand thier ground against them, if you have issues with quality. I had a laptop once catch fire on my desk while I was on the phone with tech support, while they were connected to it, remotely, no joke. Still took 6 more laptops sent to me before they gave me one that was not broken to begin with, anyways I've beaten that dead horse to death and back so many times I think we should change my name to threadomancer or something on the topic... (like I said I don't know the story, just that it involves DELL)

Because he's proved himself to be untrustworthy? It doesn't take a genius to see that someone who is willing to lie and defraud and encourages others to do that same might not be the person you should send your systems to much like someone might not trust Bernard Madoff with an investment - but maybe I just have unreasonable ethical standards.

Then why bring it up? Your post comes off as a tacit absolution of Mobius even though, as you said yourself, you don't know the details and might have a different view if you did (since Mobius was not an innocent victim and wasn't censored for trying to fight for better quality control).
